Using the refrigerator

Operate the piezo igniter (fig.

1, page 7) several times at intervals of
about 2 seconds.
➤
Hold down the temperature regulator for an additional 15 seconds after
the burner has ignited and a flame is visible through the sight glass.
After that, the automatic flame failure device is ready for operation.
Gas operation (RM123)

Ensure that the gas supply is turned on and the 230 V
w
connection cable
is disconnected from the mains socket.
➤
Set the rocker switch to “I” (fig.
g
1, page 7) to turn on the electronic ig-
nition.

The rocker switch begins to flash.

Turn the temperature regulator (fig.
g
2, page 7) to position “3”.
➤
Press in the temperature regulator and hold it down.
✓
Once the burner is lit, the rocker switch stops flashing.
➤
Hold down the temperature regulator for an additional 15 seconds after
the burner has ignited.
After that, the automatic flame failure device is ready for operation.
Operating with 230 V

Make sure that temperature switch and toggle switch are turned off and
the 12 V

supply is interrupted.
➤
Connect the refrigerator with the mains socket.
➤
Switch on the refrigerator by switching the temperature controller
(fig.
h
1, page 7) to any level.
Operating with 12 V

➤
Make sure that the gas supply and the 230 V
g
supply are interrupted.
➤
Connect the power plug with the 12 V
g
-cigarette lighter.
NOTE
Disconnect the refrigerator and the battery with the engine off
since it is otherwise discharged.
