7  MAINTENANCE

Disconnect the positive (+) 12 VDC terminal from supply battery. Otherwise, damage to unit

could occur.

7 .1  Cleaning Instructions

5

To remove dust from the screens use a soft bristle brush and gently brush back and forth over the screen
areas.

For a more thorough cleaning, the center screen or Pop N’ Lock screen on a Powered EZ-Breeze™
(model 600) can easily be removed by grasping the finger tab (FIG. 5) with one hand and pulling straight
down. Use your free hand to brace against the screen assembly. Once removed, this also provides access to
the fan blade for cleaning.

To clean the fan blade simply wipe it down with a damp cloth.

After cleaning the screen and fan blade, snap the Pop N’ Lock screen back into place.

(*Optional) To ease future cleanings: Once the screen and fan blade are clean and dry, you may wipe or spray
303 Protectant (a water-based protectant; do

not

use a petroleum-based protectant) on the screen and

blade and buff to a high gloss. This minimizes dust and dirt build-up and eases cleaning.
