To set Backwash Frequency (in DAYS) and Backwash
Time of Day
The Dolphin Whole Home System’s factory valve setting for a
Backwash to occur is once every 10 days with a start time at
2:00 am.
NOTE: IF YOU HAVE TWO OR MORE AUTOMATIC BACKWASH
TREATMENT UNITS: SET THE BACKWASH START TIME SO THAT
THE UNITS WILL NOT BE BACKWASHING AT THE SAME TIME
(e.g. Set UNIT 1 for a 2:00 am start and UNIT 2 for a 3:00 am start).
To Change Backwash frequency
(currently set to backwash
every 10 days)
To reset how many days between each backwash and also
to set the time of day that the back wash will take place you
will need to press BOTH the “up”
AND
the “down”
arrows AT THE SAME TIME for 3-5 seconds
(until the
screen changes)
. You will see a new screen which says
“REGENERATION DAY OVERIDE” and “10 DAYS”. Press-
ing either the up or down button will increase or decrease
the number of days between automatic backwashes.
To Change Backwash Time of Day
To change backwash time you must do so while you are
still in the “REGENERATION DAY OVERIDE”. While you are
in the “REGENERATION DAY OVERIDE” setting press the
“EXTRA CYCLE BUTTON . This brings up the backwash
time. You then may change the backwash time by pressing
either up ^ or v down arrow to change the time of day the
unit will backwash.
