Drill bit removal
Pull a lock ring on SDS+ chuck back and remove the bore bit.
Installing and removing keyless chuck (RH-100Q model)
The RH-100Q hammer drill is supplied with a plastic keyless
chuck for drills, which have round section shanks. To replace
the installed chuck with another one pull a releasing sleeve with
force and disconnect the chuck from the spindle.
To install a keyless chuck pull a releasing sleeve, put the chuck on
the spindle and, rotating it in any direction, get into fixing grooves.
Release the fixing sleeve and make sure the chuck is reliably secured.
Operation mode switch
The switch has 4 positions:
1. Drilling mode (only drill).
2. Hammer drilling mode (hammer and drill).
3. Hammering mode (only hammer).
4. Chiselling mode (chisel bit direction rotation).
To change mode of operation, press and hold switch hold,
and turn mode switch to necessary position.
For hammer drilling in masonry and concrete, set operating
mode selector to “Hammer and Drill” position.
Turn the mode switch to «drill» position to bore holes
in wood, metal or other synthetic materials. When drilling holes in wood and metal, it is
necessary to use special drills with SDS+ shanks, replaceable chuck with SDS shank (not
included in the scope of supply), keyless chuck (RH-100Q model).
If you need to select hammering mode, rotate mode selector to “Hammer Only” position.
If, when using flat chisel in hammering mode, you need to change its angle, set mode
selector to “Chisel bit position adjustment” position.
You can use operating mode selector only after motor has completely stopped.
