6. SAFETY REGULATIONS
Before to use the machine, it is necessary to comply with all safety measures in order to
decrease degree of risk of ignition, electric-shock hazard, and probability of body and parts
damage of the tool used. The safety measures include items listed below.
Before you try to operate the electric tool, please read carefully all recommendations
outlined in this manual.
For the purpose of safe use:
•
keep your workplace clean and tidy. Any obstruction at workplace or on worktable
may cause injury;
•
pay attention to workplace environment. Ensure good lighting of workplace. Do not
operate the electric tool near flammable liquids or gases;
•
beware of electric shock hazard. Do not touch grounded surfaces, for example,
pipelines, radiators of heating, kitchen stoves or bodies of refrigerators. Do not operate
the machine in the rain or in the snowfall. Do not use the electric tool in premises with
high humidity. Protect the electric tool from rain and moisture. Water ingress into the
tool body may cause electric shock;
•
during the electric tool operation, do not allow children stay by side. Do not allow
outsiders touch the machine or extension cord. Outsiders shall not stay by place of
works performed with the machine;
•
upon works completion, store the machine in a specially designated place. The place for
electric rool storage shall be dry and inaccessible for unauthorized persons;
•
any work will be performed with better quality and more safe if electric tools are operated
according to prescribed norms, loads, force and operation speed;
•
select proper electric tool for each specific work. Never try to perform any operations
intended for powerful professional electric machine with household electric machine
of low power. Do not use the electric machine for purposes it is not intended;
•
pay attention to selection of work clothes. Do not wear any loose working clothes
or finery because they can be captured by moving parts of electric machine. It is
recommended to wear rubber gloves and boots with non-slippery soles for outdoor
works. Hide long hair under headwear;
•
use safety googles. If during work dust is generated, wear facemask or anti-powder
mask and respirator;
•
take care not to damage power cable. Never carry the tool holding it by the power cord.
Do not pull the cord to unplug the tool from the mains. Protect the power cord from
high temperatures, reactive reagents or sharp-edged objects;
•
be careful. Ensure to have proper foothold and do not lose balance;
•
take care of careful maintenance and repair of the electric tool. To ensure the best
performance and safety during work, gently handle the tool and keep it clean;
•
follow instructions in relevant manuals when replacing the accessories;
•
periodically inspect the tool power cable, and in case of any damage replace it
in the authorized service centre; periodically inspect extension cords used, and
replace them if damaged;
•
machine handles shall be dry and clean; avoid their contamination with lubricating materials;
•
unplug power cord form socket, if machine is not in use, and before to service or
replace accessories;
