Backlight and Button Operation
The thermostat backlight is normally set to go out after 20 seconds of no button presses to
conserve battery power. If the backlight is off, the first button press of any button will only turn
on the backlight . Once the backlight is on, the buttons function normally .

“2” = Stage 2 heating or cooling is ON
“3” = Stage 3 heating (Aux Heat) is ON
For Heat Pump systems only:
“Heat-E” = Emergency heat mode active
