1. Recording by MIC

Make sure unit is in STOP (standby) mode and no cable connected to LINE-IN.

a. In [RECORD MODE], press and hold

. With FF/REW, choose ‘RECORDING

INPUT’. Press MENU again to enter.

b. Press

FF/REW

and choose ‘VOICE’. Press

MENU

again to enter.

c. Press

FF/REW

and choose ‘VAD’. With

FF/REW

, choose ‘OFF’.

Press

again to confirm.

d. With

REW/FF

button , select Exit to go back to Record Mode.

e. Press to start recording and STOP to stop recording.

2. Recording by LINE-IN

Plug one end of a 3.5mm jack cable to the LINE-IN of the unit. Plug the other end

to an external audio source.

a. In [RECORD MODE], Press and hold

FF/REW

, choose ‘RECORD

again to enter.

b. Press

FF/REW

and choose ‘LINE-IN’. Press

again to enter.

3. RECORD QUALITY SETTINGS

a. In [RECORD MODE], press and hold

. Choose ‘RECORDING MODE’.

again to enter.

button , select the different KBPS settings.

to confirm.

4. VAD SETTINGS

VAD is setting the sensitivity of the microphone. When recording from mic, it is

recommended to set it to ‘OFF’.

a. In [RECORD MODE], press and hold

MENU

. Choose ‘VAD’.

Press

MENU

again to enter.

b. With

REW/FF

button , select between ‘OFF’, ‘LOW’, or ‘HIGH’.

OFF

– starts recording immediately without detecting voice level.

LOW

– only start recording if the voice is a little bit above normal.

HIGH

– only start recording if the voice is very loud.

to confirm.

5. AUTO SYNC SETTINGS

AUTO SYNC makes synchronization recording with the LINE-IN recording device.

a. In [RECORD MODE], press and hold

MENU

. Choose ‘AUTO SYNC’.

again to enter.

b. With

REW/FF

button , select between ‘OFF’, ‘1,2,3,4 sec.’

OFF – starts LINE-IN recording immediately.

1 sec

– adds 1 sec to file before and after recording.

2 sec

– adds 2 sec to file before and after recording.

3 sec

– adds 3 sec to file before and after recording.

4 sec

– adds 4 sec to file before and after recording.

c. Press

MENU

to confirm.
