Make sure unit is in STOP (standby) mode and no cable connected to LINE-IN.

2. Recording by LINE-IN
Plug one end of a 3.5mm jack cable to the LINE-IN of the unit. Plug the other end
to an external audio source.

3. RECORD QUALITY SETTINGS

4. VAD SETTINGS
VAD is setting the sensitivity of the microphone. When recording from mic, it is
recommended to set it to ‘OFF’.
a. In [RECORD MODE], press and hold

. Choose ‘VAD’.
Press

again to enter.
b. With
REW/FF
button , select between ‘OFF’, ‘LOW’, or ‘HIGH’.
OFF
– starts recording immediately without detecting voice level.
LOW
– only start recording if the voice is a little bit above normal.
HIGH
– only start recording if the voice is very loud.

to confirm.
5. AUTO SYNC SETTINGS
AUTO SYNC makes synchronization recording with the LINE-IN recording device.
a. In [RECORD MODE], press and hold
MENU
. Choose ‘AUTO SYNC’.
Press
MENU
again to enter.
b. With
REW/FF
button , select between ‘OFF’, ‘1,2,3,4 sec.’
OFF – starts LINE-IN recording immediately.
1 sec
– adds 1 sec to file before and after recording.
2 sec
– adds 2 sec to file before and after recording.
3 sec
– adds 3 sec to file before and after recording.
4 sec
– adds 4 sec to file before and after recording.
c. Press
MENU
