11. GENERAL SETTINGS

a. In [PLAY MODE], press and hold

MENU

. With

FF/REW

, choose ‘SETTING’.

Press

again to enter.

b. Press

FF/REW

and choose between the following:

CONTRAST

– sets the contrast of the display.

BACKLIGHT

– sets how many seconds the backlight will turn off

IDLE SHUTDOWN

– sets how long the unit turns off automatically after being idle.

INFORMATION

– displays used and available free memory

FACTORY SETTING

– sets the unit back to factory default settings.

FORMAT

– formats the build-in flash memory.

ID3 LANGUAGE

– sets the ID3 language for mp3 files. Select between East

or West Europe.

again to confirm.

12. PLAY SPEED SETTINGS

a. In [PLAY MODE], press and hold

MENU

. With

FF/REW

, choose ‘PLAY SPEED’.

Press

MENU

again to enter.

b. Adjust the speed using

FF/REW

button. 100% is normal play.

c. Press

MENU

again to confirm.

FM operations:

1. ENTER FM RADIO MODE

a. Press

MENU

REW/FF

button, press and select [FM RADIO].

b. Press

MENU

again to enter FM mode. Radio station’s frequency will be shown

in the display.

Note: The earphone is also the antenna of FM radio. Make sure that the earphone is

connected to the MP3 Player.

2. PRESET STATION

a. In [FM MODE], Press and hold

MENU

. With

FF/REW

, choose ‘PRESET’. Press

MENU

again to enter.

b. Press

FF/REW

turn ON/OFF preset stations.

c. Press

MENU

again to confirm.

3. AUTO SCANNING THE WHOLE FM BAND

a. In [FM RADIO], press and hold over 2 seconds.

b. First 20 FM station detected will be stored in the preset memory.

4. HOW TO SAVE DESIRED FM BAND IN MEMORY CHANNEL

a. Make sure to set the PRESET station to OFF to activate manual tuning.

b. In [FM MODE], press

REW/FF

to tune to desired stations.

c. Press then

REW/FF

to choose the desired preset memory location.

d. Press again to store it to the PRESET memory.

5. STEREO/MONO

a. In [FM MODE], Press and hold

MENU

. With FF/REW, choose ‘SOUND’. Press

MENU

again to enter.

b. Press

FF/REW

and choose between STEREO/MONO selections.

c. Press

MENU

again to confirm.

Voice and audio recording

You can record by the built-in microphone or LINE-IN (3.5mm jack cable).
