• Keep batteries out of the reach of children and pets. Seek professional medical advice
immediately if a child swallows any battery part.
• DO NOT leave the battery near heat sources such as a furnace or heater. DO NOT leave
the batteries inside a vehicle on hot days. It is strongly recommended that the battery is
never stored in environments outside the temperature range of -4° to 104° F (-20° C to
40° C). Never store the battery in environments (such as vehicles on hot days) where the
temperature may exceed 122° F (50° C).
• DO NOT drop, strike, impale, or manually short-circuit the battery.

• Only use an approved charger for charging. The manufacturer takes no responsibility if the
battery is charged using an unapproved charger.
• DO NOT charge the battery near flammable materials or on flammable surfaces such as
carpet or wood. Never leave the battery unattended during charging.
• Never try to charge a damaged battery. Never use a damaged charger.
• Disconnect the battery and the charger when not charging.
• DO NOT charge the battery immediately after flight. The battery temperature may be too
high and may cause serious damage to the battery. Allow the battery to cool down to close
to room temperature before charging. Charge the battery at a temperature range of 41° to
104° F (5° to 40° C). The ideal charging temperature range is 68° to 82 ° F (20° to 28° C).
Charging at the ideal temperature range can prolong battery life.
• DO NOT allow the battery to come into contact with any kind of liquid. Charging a wet
battery could be very dangerous.
• When the LEDs indicate that a battery exception has occurred stop charging immediately
and review the exception. DO NOT use the battery until the exception has been resolved.
• When the battery is not being charged, unplug the Charging and Balancing Cable (if used)
to avoid a short-circuit occurring and cover the Charging and Balancing port with the
rubber cover to protect the port from moisture and dirt, which could lead to corrosion or
other issues.
Battery Storage
Use the rubber belt to securely tie the battery power cable for storage as shown in the figures
below. Ensure that the rubber covers are not damaged and are clear of contaminants such as
liquids and residues, then use the covers to carefully cover all the ports to avoid extended terminal
exposure.
