• Never use or charge swollen, leaky, or damaged batteries. If your battery is abnormal,
contact an authorized dealer for further assistance.
• The battery should normally be used in the temperature range 41° to 113° F (5° to 45° C).
Use of the battery in environments above 122° F (50° C) can lead to fire or explosion. Use
of the battery in temperatures below 32° F (0° C) can lead to a sharp decrease in flight
time. (If using the battery in the temperature range 23° F to 41° F (-5° to 5° C) it must first
be ensured that the battery voltage is at its maximum. In this temperature range the aircraft
should be flown with no load.)
• DO NOT use the battery in strong electrostatic or electromagnetic environments or near
high-voltage transmission lines otherwise the battery control board may malfunction and
cause a serious accident during flight.
• Never disassemble or pierce the battery in any way or it may leak, catch fire, or explode.
• Batteries that fall off are very dangerous. DO NOT use such batteries and dispose of them
as described in the Battery Disposal section.
• DO NOT put the battery in a microwave oven or in a pressurized container.
• DO NOT drop, strike, impale, or manually short-circuit the battery.
• DO NOT place heavy objects on the battery.
• Always hold the bar instead of the cables or the rubber belt when lifting the battery.
• Ensure the battery is fully charged before each flight.
• Immediately land the aircraft if a critical battery level warning appears and replace the
battery with a fully charged one.
• When operating in low temperature environments, before using the battery first leave it in
a room temperature environment and allow it to gently warm to above 41° F (5° C) (ideally
above 68 ° F (20° C)).
• Cover the ports with the rubber covers when the battery is not in use to protect the ports
from moisture and dirt, which could lead to corrosion or other issues.
