To remove Lower Anchor
Hook:
Push in on release
button and pull lower anchor
belt adjuster away from child
restraint to loosen. Unhook
lower anchor hooks.
After checking for hot seat
and buckles, place child in child
restraint. See “Securing Your
Child in the Child Restraint”
section.
Lower anchor hooks MUST be securely fastened.
Failure to do this can result in injury or death.
Recheck the recline angle
to make sure it is reclined
according to your child’s
weight. Repeat steps if not
reclined correctly.

If it moves more
than 1 in. (2.5 cm),
you can try:

Reinstalling the child restraint.
B.
Changing to a different seating location.
C.
Switching to the
vehicle belt.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that children
should remain rear facing until they are at least 2 years old.
Please talk to your doctor about which is the best option for your
child.
