5 Commissioning
5.1 Teach-in of the device
Prior to operating the DT5643, it must be integrated into the building automa-
tion system via the central unit (DT5637). For this, teach-in the device as follows:

The central unit has been set-up via the DITECH Smart Home iL app (see man-
ual DT5637).
1. Open the DITECH Smart Home iL app.
2. Select the menu item Teach-in device.
3. Open the battery compartment of the device (see „Device overview“ page 30)
4. Remove the insulation strip. The teach-in mode is automatically activated for
three minutes.
The teach-in mode can be activated manually for 3 minutes via the system
key (see „Device overview“ page 30). After inserting the batteries, the
motor retracts in order to facilitate the installation. During this process,
the display shows “VALVE install” and the activity symbol .
5. The device will be displayed automatically in the DITECH Smart Home iL app.
6. For confirmation, enter the last four digits of the device number (SGTIN) or scan
the supplied QR code. The device number can be found below the QR code or
in the battery compartment.
