4.8 Adjusting the Screen Settings
The product is supplied with an IR remote control. Using the remote control you
turn on the on screen display menu and adjust the settings of the display (such
as brightness, contrast, volume etc).
The IR receiver for the remote control is positioned at the bottom right hand side
of the screen. To adjust the setting point the IR remote in the direction of the IR
receiver (the distance between them should be no more than 150cm).
Note: The output from the Dell PC is connected to the Display Port input of the
display. Selecting an alternative signal input will cause the display to go into a
power down mode. If this occurs use the input select button on the remote to
return the input to Display Port. Refer to the NEC X series user manual for more
details.
