Complete Power Unit Mechanism
reMoVe aND re-iNstaL
The complete power unit mechanism consists of the
ram screw assemblies, the motor and the drive belt.
Rather than replace individual components, it may be
easiest to replace the whole mechanism.
1. Remove cabinet cover (see Electrical Components,
Access to Components).
2. Mark the location of all wire ties. screws
3. Support the power unit and remove the two Phillips
head screws from each of four support rods.
4. Remove the power unit mechanism.
5. Installation is the reverse of removal.
Drive Wheels
reMoVe aND repLaCe
1. Remove cabinet cover (see Electrical Components,
Access to Components).
2. Remove the belt cover and drive belt (see above)
and follow the steps in Drive Belt, Remove and Re-
install.
3. Remove spring washer, bearing and thrust washer
from each drive wheel and remove both drive wheels.
NOTE: Grease the spring washer, bearing and thrust
washer before re-installing.
