XM Tuner module with or without subscription

 

 

Introduction 

If your 1

st

 Generation CTS or SRX has an XM tuner module (with or without 

subscription), you should consider adding the CTS-HF module for Hands-free 
calls, music streaming, charging and more. From push-to talk button (with built-
in microphone) conveniently installed on the dash, users may launch voice 
recognition application (Siri, Google Now, Assistant etc.) initiate phone calls, 
launch applications or XM playback (if subscribed). Thanks to the CTS-HF Kit, the 

original radio, XM subscription is retained in addition to 

Bluetooth features 

only available on newer cars.  

Warning:

 

XM Subscription not require; however, if subscribed that option remains 

active. An aux input jack is provided for non-subscribers. (Subscribers are exempt 
from the aux input jack)

Installation 

 
Radio removal required to gain access to the connectors.

Using a panel removal tool, unclip and remove the top A/C vents panel 
(See

Open ash tray and remove tray. Extract (1) 9/32" screw in tray cavity. 
(A Phillips head can be used to remove the screw)

Using a panel removal tool, unclip and remove A/C Control/ash tray 
assembly below the radio (See
