Tap/Connect accessory wire (RED) to suitable ACC (Accessory) supply
in vehicle.
We suggest one of the following accessory supply options:
- In 1997-03, locate yellow wire on 3-pin plug under passenger toe
board near BCM (may be covered with black duct tape).
Yellow wire is accessory supply. (See
Fig. 7
)

Alternates for 12V accessory supply includes:

Connect push button with built-in microphone (See
Fig. 9
) to module
“MIC”
input (See
Fig. 4
) and carefully route button to front of the dash.

caution should be taken when routing so not to cut or pinch
microphone/push button

Consider where to install control button/microphone. Keep in mind the
control button must be within drivers reach and positioned so that voice
commands and phone dialog can be carried out (cable is 6ft.)
Please complete the rest of the install prior to securing button.

remove tape backing from control
