Test Operation:
1.
Turn r
adio “ON”
2.
Press “
CD
” button on radio
3.
Launch audio streaming application.
4.
Set initial volume control on audio device to 90%-- adjust as needed
based on playback quality (reduce if distorted). Use Radio volume
button to set playback level.
Warning!
Playlist and Track selection is *NOT* possible from Ford
Radio buttons. Use audio device built-in controls or optional wireless
remote to access and control audio files and applications.
5.
If correct operation is confirmed go ahead and reinstall the Radio.

Is the BLU-FRDW compatible with in-dash 6-CD changer radio?
YES;
as long as there is a
12-pin plug
in trunk, hatch, under seat, center
armrest etc.
2.
My vehicle has a CD changer. Will it continue to work?
NO;
this module replaces the CD changer.
3.
My 12-pin plug is in the trunk, will I still be able to maintain Bluetooth
connectivity with Smartphone?
YES;
Bluetooth connectivity is maintained up to 30 ft. away.
4.
Does the BLU-FRDW support hands free phone calls?
NO

Does this work in Escape without Navigation?
Works in all Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Jaguar and Nissan with a 12-pin CD
changer plug (usually in armrest, under passenger front seat, hatch etc.). If
unsure, locate the required plug prior to ordering.
6.
My 2000 S-type does not have a CD changer or pre-wired for one.
Can I use this module?
If your 2000 S-type radio is CD changer ready (CD button and 12-pin green
port on rear), purchase our
instead.
