Introduction
Looking to stream music application in your 1
st
Generation SRX with Navigation
radio and XM module? Our A2D-SRX Bluetooth module, allows these vehicles
owners to stream music applications (e.g., Pandora, Apple Music, SiriusXM,
Spotify etc.) from Smartphone, Tablet, Kindle etc. through the navigation radio
XM port. A wireless connection means no wires, clutter or complicated setup
.
The two requirements for this module to work are:
1. Navigation radio
2. XM module (with or without subscription)

If XM subscription is active
, select “
Subscribed
”, if expired, select “
Not
subscribed
”
; however
,
if not currently subscribed but plan to renew in the
future;
select “
S
ubscribed” otherwise XM will not play upon activation.
To verify vehicle has required XM module; p
ress radio “BAND” butto
n to switch
between AM, FM, XM1, XM2. If XM1/XM2 softkeys are not grayed out; vehicle has
required XM module and compatible with the A2D-SRX.

Installation
Navigation radio must be removed from dashboard to gain access to connectors.
SRX navigation radio removal:
1.
Using a panel removal tool, unclip and remove the top A/C vents panel

Open ash tray and remove tray. Extract (1) 9/32
” (
7mm) screw from
tray cavity.
3.
Using panel removal tool, unclip and remove A/C control/ash tray
assembly below radio (See
Fig. 2
)
