Operation 

 

1.

 

Turn ignition and navigation radio 

“ON”

 

2.

 

Press “

BAND

” but

ton and select XM1/2 

 

3.

 

Launch smart device music application.  

4.

 

Use radio volume control button to set the playback level. 

Playlist and Track selection *NOT* possible from buttons or display. Use smart 
device (e.g., Smartphone) built-in controls or optional wireless remote to access 
and control audio files.

 

 

5.

 

If correct operation is confirmed go ahead and reinstall radio. 

XM Playback: 

For XM subscribers only 

1. To listen to XM: 

Press “BAND” button on radio

, disable Bluetooth on audio device.  

last XM station will play. 
2. To return to streaming  
Re-enable Bluetooth in smart device settings screen. 

 

Note:

 Music streaming has priority and remains until Bluetooth is disabled on 

smart device. XM playback is only possible if smart device is disabled or out of 

range.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Optional smart remote 

Smart remote is optional and not required for the A2D-SRX operation, however 
instead of fumbling with phone, simply press buttons while keeping eyes on the 
road. The remote can also be used at home. (

Does not control factory radio 

operations)
