2 Functionality
The cleaning robot EVO PLUS begins clean-
ing to its right (Fig. 4) and then returns to
clean surfaces to the left of its starting posi-
tion.
If you stop the appliance whilst it is cleaning by
pressing any key or lifting it, you can continue
the cleaning process by pressing the flashing
cleaning mode button (
or
). However,
if you switch off the device by the on/off button
, it loses its virtual map and begins again
after being turned back on.
Your cleaning robot automatically recognises
obstacles and height differences in front of it
(Fig. 5). It consequently slows its speed be-
fore obstacles. So it recognises and avoids
drops in elevation such as stairs, as well as
objects above it e.g. carpets.
If the cleaning robot comes into contact with
an obstacle, it cleans the area around the ob-
stacle and then continues to clean up and
down the surface to be cleaned.
After the appliance has cleaned open spaces,
it cleans the edges of the room (Fig. 6). Then
the cleaning robot goes back to its starting po-
sition and parks there in standby mode.
Your cleaning robot has an alternate quick
cleaning mode in which it does not clean
around obstacles and the edges of the room.
This makes cleaning around 30 % faster.
