CHAPTER 4: Operation
NOTE
The MADI input that locks first will be used as sync
and input source for conversion. This behaviour is
overridden when the clock is set to AES input
- see „Clocking“ on page 28.
Both MADI outputs work in parallel.
The input signal condition is indicated by two LEDs.
MADI 1
SYNC
LED (green) indicates the use of MADI 1
input and its lock status.
LED OFF
= no signal
LED ON
= input is used as clock and input
source
LED blinking = signal present,
not in sync with system clock
MADI 2
SYNC
LED (green) indicates the use of MADI 2
input and its lock status.
LED OFF
= no signal
LED ON
= input is used as clock and input
source
LED blinking = signal present,
not in sync with system clock
If both MADI inputs are connected the LED of the
unused input will glow with a reduced intensity.
