Introduction
The FORD5 firmware for Directed Digital Solutions is a complete solution for remote start, security (if applicable),
bypass interface, and convenience needs compatible with specific FORD vehicles.
Warning!
This module can only be programmed via the web tool, which can be found on
www.directechs.com or using the Directechs Mobile application for smartphones. Features and functions will
become accessible when you connect the module using the XKLoader.

Key2GO is mandatory to control the immobilizer override in this firmware.
Refer to "Vehicle wiring reference chart" following each installation type.

connector.

The installation of an aftermarket hood pin is only required on vehicles that are not equipped with a factory hood pin.

The siren is optional.

Connect the brake wire only in vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission, otherwise for vehicles equipped with a
manual transmission, connect with clutch ONLY.

Connect the brown wire to (+) 12V in vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission, connect it to (-) Ground in vehicles
equipped with manual transmission.
