If you are threatened in or near your vehicle, you can attract
attention by triggering the system with your transmitter! Just
press and hold
for 1 second, and you will enter Panic Mode.
The siren will sound and the parking lights will flash for the pro-
grammed duration. To stop Panic Mode at any time, press
,
, or
on the transmitter.
Valet
®
Mode prevents your security system from arming and trig-
gering either automatically or when using the remote transmitter.
In Valet
®
Mode, all convenience functions (door locks, trunk
release, etc.) remain operational. This feature is useful when
washing or servicing your vehicle.
To enter or exit Valet
®
Mode
use the same procedure:
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Turn the ignition off.
3. Press and release the
Valet
®
switch within 10
seconds.
The status LED will light solidly to indicate that you have entered
Valet
®
Mode and will turn off when you have exited Valet
®
Mode.
