Slide the seat belt through the
forward-facing belt path behind
the fabric and buckle it. Be sure
belt is not twisted. Put seat belt in
locking mode, if necessary.
Pull shoulder portion of seat belt
to remove slack so the lap portion
is tightening down on the car
seat. It is best to do this close to
the buckle.
To check for a tight fit, grab the
seat near the label that states
“forward- facing belt path” with
one hand and give it a moderate
tug. It should move less than1 inch side-to-side, back-to-front.
Remove slack from Top Tether strap if an appropriate anchor is
available (
