Function Tests
Note: Perform this test from the ground with
the platform controller. Do not stand in the
platform.
38 Fully lower the platform.
39 Place a 2
×
4 or similar piece of wood
under both wheels on one side and drive
the machine up onto them.
40 Raise the platform at least 1.2 m.
⊙
Result: The platform should stop and the tilt
alarm will sound at 150 beeps per minute..
41 Move the drive control handle in the
direction indicated by the blue up arrow,
then move the drive control handle in the
direction indicated by the white down
arrow.
⊙
Result: The drive function should not work
in either direction.
42 Lower the platform and drive the machine
off the block.
Test the indoor/outdoor select
Functions
43 Turn the key switch to ground control
position.
44 Turn the indoor/outdoor switch to indoor
position
45 Move up and hold the platform up / down
switch.
⊙
Result: The platform should rise to 3.0 m
for JCPT0307 Model and 3.9 m for
JCPT0407 Model.
46 Move down and hold the platform up /
down switch.
⊙
Result: The platform should lower to the
stowed position.
47 Turn the indoor/outdoor switch to outdoor
position
48 Move up and hold the platform up / down
switch.
⊙
Result: The platform should rise to 2.5m.
49 Move down and hold the platform up /
down switch.
⊙
Result: The platform should lower to the
stowed position
50 Turn the key switch to platform control
position.
51 Turn the indoor/outdoor switch to indoor
position
52 Press the lift function select button.
53 Press and hold the function enable switch
on the control handle.
54 Slowly move the control handle in the
direction indicated by the blue arrow.
⊙
Result: The platform should rise to 3.0 m
for JCPT0307 Model and 3.9 m for
JCPT0407 Model.
55 Press and hold the function enable switch.
Slowly move the control handle in the
direction indicated by the yellow arrow.
⊙
Result: The platform should lower to the
stowed position.
56 Turn the indoor/outdoor switch to outdoor
position
57 Press the lift function select button.
58 Press and hold the function enable switch
on the control handle.
59 Slowly move the control handle in the
direction indicated by the blue arrow.
⊙
Result: The platform should rise to 2.5m.
60 Press and hold the function enable switch.
Slowly move the control handle in the
direction indicated by the yellow arrow.
⊙
Result: The platform should lower to the
stowed position.
