Troubleshooting

CAUTION:

Prior to cleaning or maintenance work, turn 

the master switch to the “0” position and disconnect the
power cord from the unit. The unit should be allowed to
cool first.

Dinex Equipment is constructed with high-quality materi-
als and is designed to provide you with durable service
when treated with care. To obtain the best performance
from your Equipment, it should be cleaned daily and prop-
erly maintained.

SERVICING OF DISPENSER SILOS

If bases get jammed or blocked, check the edges of the
stainless steel guides. If rough or uneven, they must be
smoothed out using sandpaper and/or a file.

DAILY CLEANING

IMPORTANT:

Never use chlorinated detergents or deter-

gents containing harsh chemicals.

WARNING:

Do not steam clean. The interior and exterior of

the unit cannot be cleaned with caustic agents, abrasive
powder or sco u ring pads, wa ter jets or high pre s s u re cleaners.
These cleaning methods can cause damage to the electri-
cal components and/or ruin the steel finish and will void
the warranty. For stubborn spots, stains or other discol-
orations, use a commercial stainless steel cleaner or polish
and apply as directed on product label. Avoid products not
specifically formulated for polished stainless steel surfaces.

The exterior of the dispenser should be cleaned daily
using a soft cloth with warm water and a mild detergent
suitable for stainless steel. Clean in the direction of the 
grain of the stainless steel. Rinse thoroughly with clean
water and cloth and wipe dry immediately.

INTERIOR CLEANING

CAUTION:

Prior to cleaning or maintenance, turn the 

master switch to “0” position and disconnect the power
cord from the receptacle. The unit should be allowed to
cool first.

1. The interior of the dispenser should be cleaned as

required, at least once every three months.

2. Open silo lid and unload dishes.

CAUTION:

Bases may be hot. Use thermal protection 

gloves for removal.

3. A damp cloth may be used to clean the inside of the 

dispenser. Do not allow water to come in contact with
the heating elements. Use caution not to bend the 
thermostat bulb.

ACCESS PANEL

The removable access panel is located on the back side of
the dispenser. Located behind the panel are:

• 1 blower unit for inside air circulation
• 1 fan for cooling electrical parts
• 1 thermostat
• 1 safety thermostat for protecting the electrical parts

from overheating switches, inner wiring and distributor
connections 

All parts can be serviced directly after removal of the
panel, which is easily removed by unscrewing the four
screws and taking the panel laterally out of the unit.

IMPORTANT:

Safety-relevant parts should be replaced

with original factory parts only. Any defective parts must
be removed and replaced by a qualified service technician 
authorized by Dinex. Should you require service please call
the Dinex Hotline at 1-888-673-4639. In order for the war-
ranty to remain valid, work must be authorized by Dinex
prior to being performed.

If appliance does not heat, please check the following:

1. Power supply

• Power line connection
• Plug
• Connection cable
• Master switch
• Proper seat of supply terminal

2. Is the thermostat set to full temperature?

3. Is the thermostat fully operable?

4. Is the Hi-Limit thermostat fully operable?

5. Is the heater element fully operable?

If the blower does not work, please check the following:

1. Power supply

• Power line connection
• Plug
• Connection cable
• Master switch
• Proper seat of supply terminal

2. Is the Hi-Limit thermostat fully operable?

3.Is the blower unit fully operable?
