NOTE
The time period for domestic hot water preparation should not exceed
20% of the heating load, as otherwise there is a danger that the building
heating load cannot be covered.
Setting range for "Domestic hot water" time period
Min: 5 minutes
Max: 1 hour 35 minutes
Flange heater (shut-off time):
The time period for the flange heater specifies the shut-off time
for the optional flange heater in the domestic hot water cylinder.
When the heat pump starts domestic hot water preparation, the
flange heater is shut off for the set time period. After the shut-off
time has elapsed, the flange heater switches on if a domestic hot
water demand is still present.
Recommended settings
The time periods should be coordinated so that the heating and
domestic hot water demand is in large part met using the heat
pump.In a low-energy house, the proportion for domestic hot
water preparation is around 20%.
Where the domestic hot water requirement is greater, the value
may also be significantly higher.
Example: Normal family home with domestic hot water prepara-
tion for 3 - 4 people:
Heating time period: 2 hours
Domestic hot water time period: 30 minutes
Flange heater time period: 1 hour
