everything
on a powered layout immediately:
Press the
key then the
key to turn off track power to the whole layout.
This option will stop everything on the layout, without knowing what locomo-
tive is on which throttle, or the need to actively control the speed of any loco-
motive.
Do not turn Track Power off during a short circuit. Clear the short first.
To Emergency Stop the active knob controlling a locomotive
: Press and
hold down the
key for about one second and the speed will go to zero and
the throttle will beep. The release the
key, or hold down for another about
1/2 second to also emergency stop a locomotive controlled on the other DT602
knob.
Having Trouble Stopping?
If the deceleration CV value you set for a partic-
ular loco is very large, this can make it look like the loco is not stopping on
command because the deceleration CV value is causing the loco to take a long
time to come to a stop. Emergency stop commands force an immediate stop
with no deceleration delays.
