Whatever approach you may choose, organizing your setups is more easily accomplished by filling out a
chart like the following:
You will find one of these charts at the back of the manual. It is a good idea to photocopy more charts
from this original as you need them.
The chart helps you to plan each PRESET in a BANK, by thinking through and writing down the
MIDI PROGRAM number, the MIDI CHANNEL number, and the PEDAL STATUS number.
There are 64 banks. You may store up to 31 presets per bank. In programming for the BANK DUMP
MODE, it is important to remember that all of the presets in the selected bank will be transmitted, that
the last preset in the bank should be used to determine the PEDAL STATUS definition, and that there
are only 16 different channels you may transmit data on.
