VENTURIS Pentium version 2.0 board Memory Configurations
The VENTURIS Pentium version 2.0 board computer comes with 8 MB of memory hardwired to the main
logic board. This amount can be increased up to a maximum of 128 MB using the four SIMM sockets on
the main logic board (Figure 3 - 13). However, when adding SIMMs make sure to:

Install 32-bit SIMMs having an access time of 70 ns or less. Supported SIMM sizes: 4 MB, 8 MB,
16 MB, 32 MB or 64 MB.

For improved performance, VENTURIS Pentium computers are designed with interleaved memory.
This feature requires that two banks are populated at a time. Ensure that the SIMM in each bank is the
same type, size, and speed. Therefore, a 4 MB SIMM in bank 1 requires a 4 MB SIMM in bank 2.
