VENTURIS Pentium version 1.0 board Memory Configurations
The VENTURIS Pentium version 1.0 board computer comes with 8 MB of memory hardwired to the main
logic board. This amount can be increased up to a maximum of 128 MB using the two SIMM sockets on
the main logic board. However, when adding SIMMs make sure to:

Install 32-bit SIMMs having an access time of 70 ns or less. Supported SIMM sizes: 4 MB, 8 MB,
16 MB, 32 MB or 64 MB.

For improved performance, VENTURIS computers are designed with interleaved memory. This
feature requires that both sockets are populated. Ensure that the SIMM in each socket is the same
type, size, and speed. Therefore, a 4 MB SIMM in Bank 0 requires a 4 MB SIMM in Bank 1.
