Upgrade Procedure
Step 1: If Your
System Has
Factory-Installed
Drives
If your DEC 3000 system has factory-installed drives, you may
need to change the SCSI IDs on the drives you are upgrading.
To determine the SCSI ID settings on your drives:
1.
Shut down your software following the instructions in your
software documentation.
2.
Put the VAXstation into console mode by pressing the halt
button located behind the door on the front of the system
unit.
