Wiring the Mega 475

to the Dial Display Board

There are three wires a Blue, Purple, and a Tan

coming out of the Mega 475 on the top right side.  The Blue
and Purple are used for data while the Tan is used to control
whether the Day or Night intensity is selected.

Blue Wire:

Connect the Blue wire from the Mega 475 to

the Blue wire on a V2 Mega Dial display board.  This wire is
the data in to the Dial Display.

Purple Wire:

Connect the Purple wire from the Mega 475

to the Purple wire on a V2 Mega Dial display board.  This
wire is the data out from the Dial Display.

Tan Wire:

Connect the Tan wire from the Mega 475 to the

Taillight circuit in the vehicle.  When the taillight is turned
on, the Tan wire is supplied power and the Night intensity
setting is selected.  When the taillight is turned off, power is
removed from the Tan wire and the Day intensity is selected.

Note:  If you don’t want the intensity to change when you
turn the taillight on and off, set the Day and Night intensity
levels the same. You can also just leave the tan wire
disconnected.

CAUTION:

 Reading these instructions may cause

headaches and a strong desire to sleep!
