If you have ordered your remote monitoring unit with internal GPRS/GSM modem, please take only a SIM card from a leading mobile service provider.
We advise against the use of prepaid SIM cards. Please deactivate the PIN code request of the SIM card before inserting. Here, simply insert the card
into a mobile phone / smartphone. Please also check if your SIM card has already been activated by your mobile network provider.
Then carefully slide the SIM card (golden board facing downwards) into the SIM slot of the remote monitoring device.
If the included indoor angle antenna does not provide su
ffi
cient reception in the server room / data center, please make sure that you use the optionally
available weatherproof outdoor antenna (item No.14036). This special antenna can be mounted on the outside wall of your building. Mounting hard-
ware (screws & dowels) is included. The length of the antenna cable is 30 meters.
