Pen Installation
• With the ET6 powered on, unplug the AC adapter (battery must be installed).
• Take the unit to the computer with DicksonWare99 installed.
• Plug in the AC adapter.
• Remove the plug from the data logging download access port.
• Plug the mini-stereo jack end of the download cable into the access port.
• Launch DicksonWare by either double clicking the icon, or Start menu Programs, Dickson, DicksonWare.
• Click to download
• DicksonWare will create graph.
Notes:
• A discontinuity in logging, caused by turning the unit off is indicated by a negative spike of -43.3
or -46.0.
• The 9V battery should be installed prior to use of the ET6. If the ET6 loses power
and does not have a battery installed, a spike will appear in the data downloaded
by DicksonWare99. This spike represents the time that the unit was without power.
Any data before this spike will be associated with an incorrect time.
• DicksonWare calculates the time of readings based on the current time of the computer. It matches up
the last reading taken with the current time of the computer. The ET6 should not be turned off
before downloading so as not to lose any readings and therefore have an incorrect time associated with
all other readings.
