Diamond 7.1 USB Sound Card in Windows XP

For the installation of the Diamond XS71U 7.1 USB Sound Card are two steps necessary:

Step 1. The automatic installation of a generic USB driver.

Step 2. The control panel installation from the software CD.

Step 1. The automatic installation of a generic USB driver.

1.) As soon as you connect the Diamond XS71U 7.1 USB Sound Card with your PC,

Windows XP installs a generic USB driver onto your system.

When the installation is done, please check in the Device-Manager if Windows 7

recognized the Soundcard and installed it under Sound, Video and Game Controllers as
“Diamond 7.1 USB Sound Card“.
