Step 2: Setting the Computer's Network

This step is not necessary when connecting to an existing LAN environment. Proceed to
P. 34 “Step 4: Configuring the Network Settings for This Machine”.

Log on to Windows as the computer's administrator or as a member of the
"Administrators" group.

Display the [Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP) Properties] window on the computer.

Click [Network & Internet] then [Network and Sharing Center].

Click [Change adapter settings] from the list on the left side of the window.

Right-click [Ethernet].
