Instant-Off
Pressing and then releasing the power button at
once will immediately power off your system.
3.1.5.7 Wake On LAN From Soft-Off
If you are using a LAN card that supports the remote wake up
function, set this field to Enabled. The will allow the network to
remotely wake up a Soft Power Down (Soft-Off) PC. However, if
your system is in the Suspend mode, you can wake up the system
only through an IRQ or DMA interrupt. Refer to “Wake-On-LAN
Connector” in chapter 2 for more information.
3.1.5.8 Wake On Ring From Soft-Off
Set this field to Enabled to use the modem ring-on function. This will
allow your system to power-on to respond to calls coming from an
external modem.
3.1.5.9 USB Resume from S3
This field, when enabled, allows you to use a USB 2.0 or USB 1.1
device to wake up the system.
3.1.5.10 Keyboard/Mouse Power On
Disabled
Default setting. Uses the power button to power
on the system.
Password
When this option is selected, set the password you
would like to use to power-on the system in the
“KB Power On Password” field.
Hot Key
When this option is selected, select the function key
you would like to use to power-on the system in
the “Hot Key Power On” field.
Mouse Left
When this option is selected, double-click the left
button of the mouse to power-on the system.
Mouse Right
When this option is selected, double-click the right
button of the mouse to power-on the system.
Any Key
Press any key to power-on the system.
Keyboard 98
When this option is selected, press the “wake up”
key of the Windows
98 compatible keyboard to
power-on the system.
