BIOS Setup
CPU / Northbridge / PCI Express / DDRII Voltage
These fields will show the detected voltage of the CPU, Northbridge,
PCI Express and DDRII.
+12V to 3VSB (V)
These fields will show the output voltage of the power supply.
Note:
The onboard hardware monitor function is capable of detecting
the system’s conditions but if you want a warning message to
pop-up or a warning alarm to sound when an abnormal condi-
tion occurs, you must install the Hardware Monitor for Windows
utility. This utility is included in the CD that came with the sys-
tem board. Refer to the Hardware Monitor for Windows section
in chapter 4 for more information.
Smart SYSFAN Temperature
This field is used to select the temperature at which the system fan
runs at full speed. The temperature will vary within the range of the
tolerance value selected in the field below.
SYSFAN Tolerance Value
This field is used to select the tolerance value of the system’s tem-
perature. The options are 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. If you selected 3, it allows
the temperature to run 3 degrees higher or lower. The system fan
will smartly adjust it’s speed in accordance to the temperature.
Smart CPUFAN Temperature
This field is used to select the temperature at which the CPU fan
runs at full speed. The temperature will vary within the range of the
tolerance value selected in the field below.
CPUFAN Tolerance Value
This field is used to select the tolerance value of the CPU’s tempera-
ture. The options are 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. If you selected 3, it allows the
temperature to run 3 degrees higher or lower. The CPU fan will
smartly adjust it’s speed in accordance to the temperature.
