PCI Configuration Setup
Use the arrow keys to highlight the “PCI Configuration
Setup” and press <Enter>, a screen similar to the one
below will appear.
The G586VPA supports three PCI master cards. The
master cards may be inserted in either PCI Slot 1 or 2,
Slot 3 and Slot 4.
PCI Slots 1, 2, 3 and 4 are mapped to PIRQ 0, 1, 2 and 3
respectively. The IRQ of each PCI slot must correspond
to the IRQ of its associated PIRQ.
The latency timer controls the duration a PCI bus-master
card can control the bus. A larger value may be faster; a
smaller value will give greatest compatibility with other
PCI devices.
