Installing Mini PCIe and/or mSATA Cards
1. The system board is equipped with 2 Mini PCIe slots.
3. Grasping the Mini PCIe card by its edges, align the card into the slot at an angle of
approximately 30 degrees. Apply firm even pressure to each end of the card until it slips down
into the slot. The Mini PCIe card must be installed into the slot without any gap between the
Mini PCIe slot and the gold finger.
4. Press the Mini PCIe card down and use the mounting screw provided to secure the half size or
full size card on the system board.

2. One Mini PCIe slot supports a full size Mini PCIe card and the other one supports a half size
Mini PCIe card. Note the key on the slot. The key ensures that the Mini PCIe card can be
plugged into the slot in one direction only.
