Installing the SODIMM
1. The SODIMM socket is located on the system board.
2. Note the key on the socket. The key ensures that the memory module can be plugged into
the socket in one direction only.
4. Press the memory module down until the clips at each end of the socket lock into position.
You will hear a distinctive “click”, indicating the module is correctly locked into the socket.

3. Grasping the memory module by its edges, align it into the socket at an angle of
approximately 30 degrees. The memory module must be installed into the socket without
any gap between the SODIMM socket and the gold finger.
