SATA Pin Assignment
The Serial ATA (SATA) connectors are used to connect the Serial ATA device. SATA 3.0 is
supported by the five SATA ports and provides data rate up to 6Gb/s. Connect one end of the
Serial ATA cable to a SATA connector and the other end to your Serial ATA device.
Jumper Setting
A SATA bus is either terminated at SATA3 or Mini PCIe (mSATA), and is configured via JP21 as
previously instructed in this chapter.

Note:
The SATA bus of SATA3 (R5) is shared with Mini PCIe (mSATA), and will be inac-
