Video Off Method
This determines the manner in which the monitor is blanked.
V/H SYNC + Blank
This selection will cause the system to turn off
the vertical and horizontal synchronization ports
and write blanks to the video buffer.
Blank Screen
This option only writes blanks to the video buffer.
DPMS
Initializes display power management signaling. Use
this option if your video board supports it.
Video Off After

The system BIOS will never turn off the screen.
Suspend
The screen is off when the system is in the Suspend
mode.
Standby
The screen is off when the system is in the Standby
mode.
Doze
The screen is off when the system is in the Doze
mode.
Doze Mode
This is user configurable only when the Power Management category
is set to User Defined. When enabled and after the set time of system
inactivity, the CPU clock will run at a slower speed (1/2 of full speed)
while all other devices still operate at full speed.
Standby Mode
This is user configurable only when the Power Management category
is set to User Defined. When enabled and after the set time of system
inactivity, the CPU clock will run at a speed slower than the speed
during Doze mode (1/3 of full speed) while all other devices still op-
erate at full speed.
