Operating and safety instructions
Introduction
Please read the operating instructions thoroughly and care-
fully before initial operation of the device and open out the
pages showing the illustrations and figures. The instruction
manual is part of this product and contains important infor-
mation relating to initial operation and handling. Please al-
ways observe all safety instructions. Before initial operation,
please check that all parts are fitted correctly. If you have
any questions or are unsure about handling of the device,
please consult a specialist or contact the service office for
your country. Please keep these instructions in a safe place.
If you give the device to anyone else, please also pass on all
documents supplied with it.
Proper use
The CA 66 compact alarm system is specially designed for
the protection of smaller properties such as apartments,
holiday homes, caravans or garages. The alarm is battery-
operated (8 x .5 V type LR6 batteries, mignon / AA, alkaline)
(not included), which also makes it suitable for properties
without mains electricity. The control unit can be programmed
with a user code (one to ten digits).This unit and the movement
detector are suitable for use in dry indoor spaces only. The
loud external siren is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The
device is for private use only. Any other use or modification
of the device constitutes improper use and poses a serious
risk of accident. The manufacturer is not liable for damage
caused by improper use or incorrect operation of the device.
