installation site (the external siren sounds).

The cable to the motion detector has been severed or
disconnected (alarm sounds after 8 seconds delay).
Alarm signals
The internal siren of the control unit and the external siren
emit the loud siren sounds for approx. 60 seconds.
Then the compact alarm system returns to the armed state
again. If the cable
w
to the external siren has been severed
or disconnected or the external siren has been removed
from the installation site then the external siren emits a loud
siren for approx. 120 seconds.
Interrupting the alarm
o
To do this after the alarm has been triggered you need
to enter the user code to disarm the device.
o
Press key 1 on the keypad
R
twice. You have now
entered the user code (factory setting 11).
o
Then press key E on the keypad
R
once. You have
confirmed the user code.
To change the user code
Tip!
Change the user code from the factory setting im-
mediately after bringing the device into use by pro-
gramming it yourself.
To change the factory setting 11 of the user code and enter
your own user code:
o
Choose your own user code. The code may consist of a
maximum of ten digits. A 3- to -digit user code allows
you to enter the code quickly.
o
Remember the code and note it down somewhere not
accessible to an intruder.
You will only be able to operate the compact alarm system
if you can enter the correct user code (factory setting 11
or your own user code).
o
Press key 1 on the keypad
R
twice. You have entered
the user code (factory setting 11).
o
Now press key P on the keypad once. The device emits
a pip sound and the green LED illuminates.
o
Press the digit keys on the keypad
R
and enter your
own new user code.
o
Now press key P on the keypad
R
once. The control
unit emits a melody to confirm the entry of your own
user code.
Replacing the batteries

Attention!
Make sure that the compact alarm system
is disarmed before you change the batteries.
Tip!
Continuous high or low temperatures and high
humidities can shorten the service life of the batteries.
The batteries should be replaced after approx. 1 year.

Unscrew the four fastening screws on the rear of the
housing of the control unit and take the four batter-
ies out of the battery holder
}
. Insert the new bat-
teries 1. V type LR6 (mignon / AA, alkaline) observ-
ing the correct polarity (helical spring to the negative
pole of the battery) into the battery holder
}
of the
control unit.
o
Place the battery holder
}
back into the battery
compartment of the control unit and reattach the
rear
T
of the battery compartment with the fasten-
ing screws

o
Unscrew the four fastening screws on the rear of the
housing of the external siren and take the four batteries
out of the battery holder

. Insert the new batteries
1. V type LR6 (mignon / AA, alkaline) observing the
correct polarity (helical spring to the negative pole of
the battery) into the battery holder

of the external
siren.

Place the battery holder

back into the battery
compartment and reattach the battery compartment
cover with the fastening screws.
