11. Move the stopper up and down to confirm that 

the stopper’s light blocking plate does not touch 
the inner surfaces of the sensor slit.

* In case of <NG>, take the following step.

(1) Raise the stopper and loosen the screw that 

holds the sensor mounting plate.

(2) To make the light blocking plate pass the cen-

ter of the sensor slit, move the sensor mount-
ing plate from side to side and adjust the 
mounting plate’s position.

(3) Lower the stopper and confirm that the state is 

that of <OK>.

(4) Raise the stopper again and tighten the screw 

that was loosened in step (1).

(5) Lower the stopper again and confirm newly 

that the state is that of <OK>.

12. Pull the right rail out completely.

13. Attach the saddle unit to the rails (one screw).

Note:

Use the screw removed in step 5.

14. Slide the saddle unit in the finisher and close the 

front door of the finisher.

15. Make copies again and check the crease posi-

tions deviate.

16. After completing the adjustment, secure the rail 

of the saddle unit (one screw).

Note:

    • Use the screw removed in step 4.
    • Before securing the rail, make sure that the pro-

jection on the rail is on the back side of the 
screw hole.
