7. Remove the covers from the finisher (right and 

left) as shown below (two screws).

8. Remove the three screws inside the finisher and 

remove the plate from the finisher as shown 
below.

Note:

    • Remove the screws located at the ends first.
    • While holding the plate in position, remove the 

screw located at the center.

9. Attach the left and right rails furnished with the 

saddle stitcher (two screw A’s furnished with the 
saddle stitcher each).

Note:

    • To align the screw holes, use the below as a 

guide.
<Rail (Left)>

Put the rear end of the rail about 45 mm from 
the back of the finisher.

<Rail (Right)>

Make the front end of the rail protrude about 
10 mm from the finisher front plate.

    • Put the rail along downward to screw.

10. Pull the left rail out completely.

11. Grip the portion as shown in the illustration 

below to raise the saddle unit. Insert the two 
hooks on the left rail into the two holes on the 
saddle unit.

12. Pull the right rail out completely.

13. Attach the saddle unit to the rails (one screw A 

furnished with the saddle stitcher each for left 
and right).

14. Use the mark as a reference to insert the two 

pantograph hooks of the saddle unit into the 
back hole locating inside of the finisher.

15. Secure the pantograph (one screw B furnished 

with the saddle stitcher).

16. Connect the three pantograph connectors to the 

finisher, and gather the harness into the wire 
saddle.
