Be sure the air inlet grills, louvers, and dampers are inspected regularly and that they are clear

and free of dust, dirt, snow, ice, frost, and other foreign material so that air may freely enter

into the building to provide adeqate combustion and ventilating air.
For proper and safe operation of the brooder installation, there shall be provided a combined

infiltration of natural and mechanical ventilation rate of not less than 1/4 S.C.F.M (standard

1.

Turn on the gas and electrical supply.

2.

Set the controller to call for heat.

3.

 Ignition should occur immediately.

4.

If ignition fails, the unit will spark for

approximately 15 seconds and then will

attempt two (2) additional trials of ignition

before going into a soft lockout. The soft

lockout will be reset after 5 minutes and try

3 more times to ignite before a hard lockout

occurs, in which the power must be

interrupted to reset circuit board.

5.

If the heater does not light, shut off the gas

valve completely for five (5) minutes before

attempting to relight.

6.

To shut down the heater, turn off the gas

and electrical supply.

1.

Allumer la provision à gaz et électrique.

2.

Le lock-out douce sera

6.

Pour fermer l'appareil de chauffage, éteignez

la provision à gaz et électrique.
