Team Functions
Introduction
With the team functions you can
manage your telephone communi-
cation tasks by assigning lines with
separate call numbers to the keys of
different terminals. The terminal us-
ers, or team members, can thus pick
up one another’s calls or telephone
each other using the configured
keys.
Team functions can only be config-
ured on the corded system tele-
phones of the OpenPhone 6x prod-
uct line because only these have the
required features.
Explanation of Keys
The team functions are programmed
on the call keys of the OpenPhone 6x
telephones. Depending on the ter-
minal, different numbers of call keys
are available:

Only one function or call
number can be programmed for each
call key.
The following keys can be used:

Trunk key
: Calls (for the pro-
grammed call number, e.g. 11)
are signalled to this key, and you
can make internal and external
calls via this number. A trunk key
can be programmed with a sub-
stitute function (with another
team member acting as the sub-
stitute). Calls for you are then
signalled to the terminal of an-
other team member. A trunk key
also provides functions for man-
